Introduction

Shixiong Zhang (his academic family tree) is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Technology at Xidian University started from Dec. 2020. He spent 3 yeras (2017-2020) to obtain his Ph.D. in Computer Science under the mentorship of Dr. Ka-Chun Wong at City University of Hong Kong. He was previously a trainee in the Lab of Prof. Jiang Qian in the School of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University. His broad research interests includs bioinformatics, computational biology, single-cell data analysis, applied, machine learning, computational intelligence, and time series forecasting.
